Account Opening.

Is there a fee to open an account?

There are no fees for opening an account with Option888. However, in order to start trading, you will need to deposit funds into your account. We accept credit cards and bank wire payments. Please contact us to learn if other payment options are available.

What currencies can do you accept?

We accept USD, EUR, GBP, TRY, DKK, SEK, and NOK in our trading accounts.

How secure is trading with Option888?

Option888 utilizes internationally accepted banking standards and security systems SSL (secure socket layer) that encrypts all your credit card payment information and personal details online.

I am having problems registering my account, what do I do now?

Where can I view my account balance and other information?

Your account balance, trade history, and other important account information are available to view after you’ve logged in to your account.

I want to close out my account, what is my next step?

You can either contact Customer Support via phone or send an email to support@Option888.com. Typically, we prefer you to speak with your account manager prior to account closure. If you have accepted a bonus into your account, please be sure that you have reached your required turnover.

Do you have any refer-a-friend programs?

At Option888, we encourage customers to bring their friends and family on board to trade with us; therefore we offer you a reward for every referral that you bring to the platform. Rewards will be based upon your referral’s active account status. Please contact customer support for more details.

What type of documents will I need to provide?

Option888 is required to receive certain Know Your Customer (KYC) documents in order to prevent fraudulent trading and for additional customer security. The following documents are all required to be sent within 5 days of opening your account. Unfortunately, failure to send the required documents will result in your trading account being suspended.

The following documents are required:

1.) PROOF OF IDENTITY

Photo Identification – Valid, Government issued ID (i.e driver’s license or passport)

2.) PROOF OF ADDRESS

Utility Bill – Must be same as billing address (current – not older than 3 months)

3.) PROOF OF PURCHASE

Credit Card – Clear copy of credit card used for your deposit – Front and Back sides Please make sure the first 12 digits of your card number are covered so that ONLY the last 4 digits of your card number are visible. Please also cover your 3 digit CVV number.

*Photographs from your smartphone or tablet are also acceptable

Do I needto install software to use Option888?

No. Option888 provides a stand-alone web-based trading solution and additional software in not needed. Once you have deposited funds into your account, you can trade right on the Option888 website, simply by logging in to your account.

What time zone is shown on the platform?

Option888 is set to GMT+0 (Greenwich Mountain Time) and its synchronized with all major world markets.

Trading.

What is a Down option?

A down option (Also known as a “Put” option) is an option that provides the holder with a profit when the price of the underlying asset falls below the price of the asset at the time of the trade. In the event that the option expires at exactly the same price, the full original investment amount will be returned to your trading account.

What is an Up option?

An up option (Also known as a “Call” option) is an option that provides the holder with a profit when the price of the underlying asset rises above the price of the asset at the time of the trade. In the event that the option expires at exactly the same price, the full original investment amount will be returned to your trading account.

Why am I not able to place a trade in my account?

There may be a few reasons that your trade was unable to be placed.

  • a.) All products are available during their respective market trading hours. Outside the market trading hours, the product will not be displayed in Option888’s trade platform.
  • b.) The trade amount may have exceeded the amount of funds available in your account.
  • c.) Your account may be suspended because your required documents have not been received.

Why do the rates continue to change before I place my trade?

The rate of any given asset on Option888 is strictly dependent on the markets, which are dynamic and constantly fluctuate. The fluctuations in the market, currency rates, and other factors have a direct impact on the rate of an asset. This is the rate of any given asset may change at any time. Trading requires an understanding of these market fluctuations. Once your account is live, your account manager will contact you assist you in creating a strategy to recognize these fluctuations and make better trading decisions.

What is an “expiry time”?

The expiry time is the time and date at which a given option expires.

What is the expiry rate?

The expiry rate is the price of an underlying asset at the time of expiry of a trade.. This is the determining factor if your trade has expired in or out-“of-the-money”. A different expiry rate is determined for each underlying asset and trade type.

What are the rates displayed in the trading boxes?

The rates are the current prices of the underlying asset. The rate is based our live-market feed system, and is guaranteed to be accurate to within one-millionth of a second. .

How does the Payout Percentage work?

The payout percentage is the percentage of the investment amount that is earned in profit if the option expires ‘in the money’. (For example: a €100 trade with a payout percentage is 88%. If the option expires ‘in the money’ then the amount returned is €88 profit, (88% of €100) and the initial €100. In the event your trade wins, you would then receive €188 back into your account.)

What methods of payment are there for depositing and withdrawing funds?

At this time, Option888 accepts payments via Credit/Debit card, Neteller, Giropay, Sofort Banking, Paysafecard or Bank Wire.

Why do withdrawals take up to 10 days when my deposits are instant?

To ensure the security of your funds and to be sure that all funds are returned safely there are security checks that need to be completed before processing a withdrawal. Although Option888 begins to process your withdrawal request within 1 business day, for your safety, we must ensure to follow our mandated protocols. Additionally, your financial institution can take 3-7 working days to credit the funds back into your account. Once you have received confirmation that your withdrawal has been approved, funds are instantly sent back to your account utilizing the same payment method as your deposit.

Can I withdraw profit onto my credit or debit card?

Option888 can only process the sum of your original deposit back to your credit card. All profits exceeding your original deposit amount will be sent to you via bank wire. It is our standard procedure that you must fill out a withdrawal form on our site if we do not have proper documentation at the time of your withdrawal in order to receive your funds. Customer support will be happy to help you complete this process, and expedite the withdrawal of your profits.

Can I have 2 Accounts with Option888 at the same time?

Typically, we prefer account holder to only have one active account at any given time. If you feel there are circumstances under which you would prefer to have additional accounts, please contact customer support or your account manager, and a decision will be made as to whether to grant you access to additional accounts. All decisions are made under the sole discretion of management.

I want to deposit. Why was my transaction declined?

There could be several reasons as to why your payment failed, including but not limited to:

  • a.) Your information has been incorrectly entered into the system.
  • b.) Your financial institution may require you to verify the transaction.
  • c.) Your card may be expired.
  • d.) There are insufficient funds on the card.
  • e.) Your card has come up on a security check as being lost or stolen.
  • f.) We do not accept your card type.

If you are having trouble making a deposit, please contact customer support and we will help you to the best of our ability, or determine an alternative payment method.

Can I cancel a withdrawal?

You may cancel your withdrawal within 24 hours since your request. In this case, the withdrawal amount will remain in your account or will be credited back to your account within 24 hours. In the event that the refund has already been.

What happens if the card I use has been lost or cancelled during the process of depositing or withdrawing?

All credit card deposits are instantaneous and as such your account will be funded regardless of the fact you lost the card or cancelled your card after the deposit. However if your card has been lost or cancelled, during a withdrawal process you will need to contact your bank to resolve this. In the event the bank is unable to assist, Option888 will process the withdrawal to your bank account via wire transfer.
